Position Summary
The Sales Manager will plan and implement sales and marketing activities to meet company targets for retention, growth, and profitability. The Sales Manager will manage a team of sales representatives and will have co-management responsibilities of the design team and customer service team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides insight to sales team regarding pricing strategies
- Manage design and new business development
- Execute marketing strategy to grow profitable sales
- Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development
- Execute on current sales strategy to continue to maximize customer satisfaction
- Recruit, manager, train, and motivate people on your team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
- Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
- Responsible for performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
- Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
- Meet with key clients and assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
- Analyze and control expenditure of division to confirm to budgetary requirements
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competition
- Recommend and/or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
- Regular and reliable attendance

Work Environment / Physical Demands
Fast paced environment, requiring adaptation to continuous changes in Company, Customer and People needs
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk in traditional office environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to work at least 75% of the time on site to facilitate collaboration with production facility

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in technical sales
- 3+ years of experience managing a team
- Proficient knowledge of pricing theory, margin management
- Excellent skills in Excel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated track record of success within B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in sourcing qualified prospects through social media
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with systems mentioned above
- Detailed oriented
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Experience in corrugated, strongly preferred
- A genuine, positive, and friendly disposition
