The Enterprise Security Group marketing team is responsible for marketing security products, working with cross functional teams, mainly sales teams plus to develop and execute marketing plans.

As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open to students and graduates.

Make a difference with hands-on strategy

In this role, you will assist execution of marketing strategies and operations to support Akamai's ESG team. With our hands-on team you will coordinate marketing events and campaigns. Using data, you will help build a comprehensive strategy. Pulling together multiple teams to execute field marketing campaigns, you will help us build EMEA marketing reach.

As a Field Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting our field marketing manager with setup and execution of strategic marketing programs and events
• Supporting coordination of post campaign programming, lead management, and maintenance
• Analyzing and delivering insights on campaign performance and regional results, as compared to published benchmarks or targets and KPIs
• Developing and executing engaging social media campaigns, creating compelling internal and external communication, and contributing to internal marketing efforts

• Be currently studying in a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Communications or another related field
• Demonstrate exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills and have the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Have team organization skills, ensuring best practices in cross-functional global teams
• Be a self-starter who is comfortable and productive in a fast-moving and fluid environment

Work in a way that works for you

Our 6-month intern program requires you to be available 40 hours per week during summer months (July-September). We offer the opportunity to work part-time during the academic year (October-June).
