Airgas is Hiring for a Customer Service Representative in Grand Prairie, TX !

You will process orders for industrial, medical and specialty gases as well as welding and safety equipment, power and hand tools and other products/supplies requested by telephone from call-in customers and associates.

In particular, you will: 

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide a variety of services to customers, including assisting customer identify product needs and placing orders.

  • Efficient and accurate entry of customer orders, edits orders received for accurate pricing and codes.

  • Research products with vendors, including pricing and availability details.

  • Work with internal customers (account managers, branch store operations, distribution, etc) to resolve customer order conflicts.

  • Maintains clean open order and backorder report.

Are you a MATCH?

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 

  • 2+ years product and/or sales experience. 

  • Proficient with data entry.  Working experience with SAP preferred. 

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds in the course of product demonstration.

  • Valid Driver’s License
