About this role

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Stress Airframe Engineer (F/M) to join our Single Aisle Airframe MAP engineering department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a dynamic team of skilled engineers, which develops troubleshooting and design solutions for the A320 and A321 Final Assembly Lines. As part of the department, you will be involved in industrialization to support the production ramp-up.

Your challenges

  • Provide repair solutions to support aircraft production and delivery (eQLBs, ALBs, Concessions and non-conformities).

  • Approve technical documents and concessions for structural stress (T300 and T400 with delegations).

  • Manage static and FDT fields.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders: Final Assembly Line, Delivery Center, Flight Test Center, Design Office, etc.

  • Participate in improvement projects within the team and represent the Stress department to airlines and internal customers.

Your boarding pass

  • Experience as a stress specialist with knowledge in design analysis.

  • In-depth knowledge of airframe structure, design principles, and structural repair solutions.

  • Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as PDM and ISAMI, and SAP.

  • Ability to work responsibly, autonomously, and in an organized manner.

  • Proficiency in French and a good level of English.
