About this role


Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Manage multiple IT-related project streams and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal business partners.

  • Leads cross functional project teams to ensure all deliverables and milestones are met on highly complex projects, owns the project schedule and forecast. Complexity can vary based on several factors such as size, scope, number of geographies, variables or dynamics of customer and/or project.

  • Manage and monitor closely project resources capacity planning and utilization to help on capacity estimation accuracy for current and future projects.

  • Responsible for working with internal and/or external stakeholders to set resources expectations and project success criteria. 

  • Accountable for stakeholder acceptance on key project deliverables.

  • Govern on project documentation (scope control, risk and issue management, change control, escalation management).

  • Leads project cadence calls, may include executive steering committees and provide project status and progress updates timely.

  • Manage and be able to coach a team of 3-5 project managers and oversee their deliveries based on agreed scope, timeline and cost.

  • May provide client relationship management throughout the project delivery, and facilitate the transfer of the project and client relationships to other internal teams.

  • Govern on change management (adoption and adaption) as part of the project cycle.

  • Prepare reports and hand-ons deck for top management.

Who you are:

  • Having similar IT working experience and background for at least 10 years.

  • This role requires a self-starter and self-organized attitude.

  • The ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams and numerous stakeholders, directly and through influence

  • Solid experience in using project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) effectively including MS project

  • Ability to plan effectively in a rapidly changing environment to quickly identify the critical path and appropriately manage challenging situations real time. 

  • Experience in managing through project resets due to change in scope or unforeseen challenges.

  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels of external and/or internal leadership, including strong executive presence. 

  • Proven ability to manage in demanding environments, including strong executive-level persuasion skill.

  • A solid discipline of risk and issue management.

With at least professional certifications (or higher than) of:

  • PMP

  • ITL4

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
