AirAsia X is seeking Executive, CAMO Planning to be part of our winning team!

Main Responsibility

  • Institutes and maintains an effective and efficient engineering planning and control system on all relevant work accomplished by Part 145 organization to ensure the company’s aircraft, engines, components and associated equipment are scheduled for maintenance in a timely and economical manner and in accordance with company, manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia requirements.

Specific Function

  • To maintain a system of planning to ensure aircraft maintenance is scheduled in proper manner.

  • To establish a procedure whereby plans of work are performed as per regulatory requirement.

  • New aircraft acquisition and re-delivery – participates in the evaluation, acceptance of new or leased aircraft and prepares for the return of leased aircraft expeditiously as per lease agreement.

  • Ensure ADs, SBs and other airworthiness requirements that affect the company’s aircraft are scheduled in a timely manner.

  • Organize Aircraft Check Management.

  • Monitor – check package during maintenance checks, ensure that all documents pertaining to the check package are accounted for, and appropriately certified.

  • Engine and APU Shop Visit forecasts – review, plan and monitor engine shop visit during and after check completed.

  • Concession request and monitoring.

  • Maintenance Forecast monitoring – component and aircraft.

  • Ensure daily reports that contain ADD items sent by Part 145 are monitored closely.

  • Request concession from QAM in the event Scheduled Checks require concession due to operational constraint when required by Planning Manager. Refer to Para 1.14.5 of CAME on further elaboration of this procedure.

  • Monitor training records annually and ensure the records are current.

  • Issue and monitor task cards for scheduled and unscheduled tasks to Part 145 based on aircraft assigned.

  • Highlight to the Planning Manager if there is any issue in accomplishment of scheduled maintenance. Follow up daily with the Planning Manager on the status until

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any field

  • At least 2-3 years working experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning with an airline or MRO. - Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, provided the highest education requirement as above are met.

  • Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed.

  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success.

  • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google-based applications.

  • Excellent English communications skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate to Leadership.

  • Must be able to handle high-stress situations.

  • Ability to work with fellow Team Members with a variety of personalities.

  • Ability to multi-task easily.
