YOUR ROLE AS AN EXECUTIVE, CABIN SAFETY

In an executive cabin safety position, you will serve a high-impact leader responsible for the oversight of cabin safety standards and emergency procedures. This role bridges the gap between regulatory mandates and commercial viability, ensuring that safety is integrated as a core business value.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

Safety Policy & Regulatory Governance

  • Act as a contact person for National Aviation Authorities (e.g., CAAT) and international bodies (IATA, ICAO)

  • Ensure all cabin operations strictly adhere to legislative requirements and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) provisions.

  • Review and ensure measurable KPIs are effectively cascaded and integrated.

  • Make sure that operations align with both international regulatory frameworks and internal corporate safety standards.

  • Oversee comprehensive safety documentation and records management in compliance with corporate and regulatory control requirements.
     

Safety Risk Management

  • Lead end-to-end Hazard Identification and Risk Management protocols, transforming raw safety data into actionable intelligence to mitigate operational threats.

  • Direct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and safety investigations for cabin incidents, implementing robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence and reduce organizational liability.

  • Conduct the Risk Assessment framework for the Cabin Crew Department, overseeing the formulation of strategic mitigation plans for identified hazards.

  • Manage cabin incident investigations using reporting data to protect our people and prevent damage to the aircraft.
     

Safety Assurance

  • Oversee departmental safety performance by standardizing audit procedures across all aircraft and base facilities.

  • Ensure continuous regulatory readiness through targeted inspections of equipment, pre-flight protocols, and training effectiveness.

  • Drive accountability in safety standards by managing the follow-up process for internal audit findings and implementing corrective actions.

  • Coordinate regulatory surveillance and CAAT inspections, maintaining the organization’s standing as a compliant and safe operator.
     

Safety Performance & Change Management

  • Define and monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs), Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP), and targets to drive departmental accountability and operational excellence.

  • Oversee the Strategic Management of Change (MOC) process to ensure safety standards remain uncompromised during organizational or operational shifts.

  • Improve the Cabin Safety Management System (SMS), adopting business best practices to maintain a proactive safety posture.

  • Deliver comprehensive SMS training and education programs for both management and operations.

  • Facilitate high-level communication of safety-critical data between the management team and stakeholders.

  • Manage the distribution of vital safety intelligence across all levels of the organization to maintain a transparent and informed safety culture.
     

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.

  • Having knowledge or working experience in Safety Management System (SMS) by regulator or authorities or recognized training provider (example, CAAT, IATA, ICAO, etc)

  • Expertise in translating frontline operational risks into compliant documentation frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Experience working as Cabin Crew Safety Instructor, Examiner, Checker, Executive, Airline Safety will be an advantage

  • Strong leadership skills and logical decision-making to drive a proactive safety culture.

  • Able to travel for business purposes as required
