  • Oversee export of aircraft parts and components for repair, overhaul, warranty claims, or pool support.

  • Ensure compliance with CAAP export regulations and maintain technical records and part traceability.

  • Manage re-importation of repaired/overhauled components and coordinate with Finance and Customs brokers to avoid delays or penalties.

  • Recommend appropriate Incoterms and make commercial logistics decisions balancing cost, risk, urgency, and cashflow.

  • Monitor total landed costs and control AOG expedite costs versus aircraft downtime and revenue impact.

  • Ensure timely availability of materials for aircraft maintenance, fleet induction, and AOG recovery.

  • Develop contingency plans for customs delays, supplier disruptions, or transportation bottlenecks.

  • Manage relationships with repair vendors, MROs, freight forwarders, OEMs, pool providers, and government agencies.

  • Define, track, and report logistics KPIs, including import/export lead time, repair TAT, customs clearance cycle time, total landed cost vs budget, AOG response time, and compliance/audit findings.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational readiness.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Regulatory and compliance-minded with strong knowledge of aviation import/export regulations.

  • Cost-conscious with commercial decision-making skills balancing risk, urgency, and cashflow.
