Job Description Title : Operations Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Assist the Site Manager with the development, implementation and maintains site specific EH&S programs adhering to National and local environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Responsible for assisting and implementing in the preparation, maintaining, and updating site specific procedures and programs. Assist with ensuring compliance with all applied site specific environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the site operations. Serves as an alternate contact with all EH&S regulatory agencies and clients(Samsung).
Responsibilities
• Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations that are applied to site.
• Provide site specific EH&S guidance and compliance support to site teams to ensure compliance
• Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies and clients(Samsung) concerning all EH&S issues
• Site level EH&S risks assessment and mitigation for sustainability and risk reduction
• Develop and implement the site specific EH&S management system to meet the local regulation & clients request
• Coordinate/provide site EH&S training and maintain EH&S records
• Incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans to prevent reoccurrences
• Maintain site specific EH&S KPIs
• Assist with conducting daily/weekly/monthly/qtly safety meetings and helps maintain an active EH&S awareness program
• Proactively drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance and programs.
• Drive improvements in organizational site EHS culture, awareness, and accountability
• Emergency preparedness and response plan including site level business continuity plan
Air Products Internal Use Only
• Provide on-site support at site in timely manner
• Continuously monitor the workplace for hazardous safety, health and environmental conditions.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualification
• Bachelor degrees in Safety, Environmental engineering or related technical discipline
• 5 to 10 years of EH&S professional experience in PSM and Chemical Mgmt Act
• Possess relevant Korea Certificate of Safety & Environmental engineer
• Strong mindset in EHS Regulatory Compliance with EHS related regulations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• English communication capability in written and oral
Preferred
• Experience on PSM program and Chemical Mgmt Act in Chemical or Oil/Gas Industries.
