Lead operational excellence as our ASU Facility Manager in Kwinana, WA.Safety Leadership: Exercise proactive leadership by staying current on workplace safety matters, understanding operational hazards, and ensuring appropriate resources are deployed to eliminate or minimise risks.
Operational Integrity & Efficiency: Lead the safe, reliable, and continuous operation of the ASU (Air Separation Unit). Collaborate with the Primary Production support team and other relevant teams to develop and implement plant efficiency programs and reliability improvements.
HSEQ Compliance: Guarantee the implementation of processes for reporting notifiable incidents, consulting with workers, and ensuring that health and safety representatives receive their training entitlements.
Management & Quality Systems: Lead site management reviews and deploy the regional roadmap. Collaborate on the Management of Change (MOC) procedure and ensure all Operating Manuals and SOPs are updated and accessible.
People Management & Qualification: Set clear annual objectives aligned with Primary Production initiatives. Conduct annual reviews and take responsibility for the qualification of the site team through On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Learning platforms.
Stakeholder & Facility Leadership: Serve as the primary focal point for customers, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate daily maintenance and repairs to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Financial & Innovative Contribution: Apply strategies to reduce operational costs and track performance improvement projects. Engage with support team experts to follow up on new ideas and innovative modes of operation.
Education: Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Similar
Preferred Professional Experience: 5+ Years of experience in industrial gasses with focus on running operations.
Preferred Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ASU processes to fulfill WHS due diligence and regulatory obligations.
Talent Developer: A mentor who can review competencies, propose training plans, and foster a culture of continuous technical improvement across the site team.
Safety Champion: A visible leader who ensures every worker is qualified and every hazard is mitigated, prioritising compliance as a key component of our social license to operate.
