This role is suitable for a highly dynamic, results driven and creative individual, who will handle all our Sales Support activities in Italy, including the Italian Travel Agencies & their Group Sales. The Sales Support Agent provides support to the General Manager, Sales Italy & Greece and Commercial Managers in all other Sales and Commercial activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to our Key Account Agents (help desk)  
  • Responsible for our Groups Reservations & all Ticketing activities
  • Responsible for our direct Customers Reservations and enquiries
  • Support Check-in and Airport ticket offices during hours of operations
  • Closing, Authorizing, and auditing of local ticket office activities
  • Monitoring Sales via BSP-Link and assign ticketing authority
  • Support Passengers’ Refunds and Customer Relations activities, handle sales reports & other related administrative duties as need be
  • Updates and monitoring of the web content (local homepage), web support duties
  • Review & distribution of B to C Newsletters, and B to B Flash info to travel agents
  • Coordination of sales events
  • Conduct Price Benchmarking / inventory analysis for the market
  • Preparation & updates of product presentations for the sales team
  • Preparation of figures and data to support review meetings and sales strategic decisions
  • Support other markets in the Country Manager’s portfolio if required.

Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior.



  • Tourism diploma/degree or relevant experience
  • Sales support & reservations/ticketing experience (3 years) preferably with airline or tourism industry
  • Strong knowledge of GDS combined with previous experience
  • Good knowledge of Windows and MS Office
  • On the job training for all Air Canada related used software systems

Conditions of Employment:

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations necessary for employment. Prior to their start date, candidates will also need to provide proof of their eligibility to work in the country of interest.
