Operations Lead 2026 - COL

Aimpoint Digital is a leading, fully remote data and analytics consulting firm. We're a dynamic team committed to solving our client's most challenging business problems in partnership with the industry's most innovative software providers. We are seeking a Colombia based Operations Lead to support us in the management of our Colombia office and partner with leadership to continue our regional growth.

What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Lead to oversee and optimize day-to-end business operations in Colombia. The ideal candidate is based in Colombia (preferably Medellín) and has proven experience working with U.S.-based companies, along with a strong understanding of Colombian labor laws, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory alignment, and scalable processes across our Colombian operations.

• Lead, manage, and execute day-to-day operational activities across Colombia.
• Act as the primary liaison between local teams and U.S. leadership, ensuring strong communication and alignment.
• Oversee compliance with Colombia’s legal, tax, employment, and operational regulations.
• Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to support growth and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with local vendors, partners, and government entities.
• Support HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance alignment, and compliance with Colombian labor laws.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports for executive teams.
• Identify risk, propose solutions, and ensure operational continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational functions.

• Based in Colombia (Medellín strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of operations leadership or management experience, ideally within multinational or U.S.-based organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian regulations, including labor law, compliance, HR processes, and business operations.
• Direct experience coordinating with U.S. teams, executives, or clients.
• Proven ability to design and optimize operational workflows.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience managing local vendors, partners, and/or government agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling operations in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with finance operations, payroll, or local compliance systems.
• Project management certification or experience (e.g., PMP, Agile).

This position is fully-remote within Colombia. Medellin based applicants will have the opportunity to work in our Colombian office.
