We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Team Leader to recruit, develop, and manage a team of remote life insurance professionals. This role combines sales leadership, coaching, and performance management and is well suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and are passionate about developing others.
As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving team performance, maintaining high standards of client service, and supporting continued growth through effective leadership and strategy.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and manage a team of remote sales representatives
Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented team culture
Sales Strategy & Performance Management
Implement and execute sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth
Monitor individual and team performance metrics and provide data-driven guidance
Lead by example through direct sales activity and client engagement when needed
Client Experience & Relationship Management
Ensure a high standard of professionalism and client satisfaction across the team
Support team members in handling complex client needs and objections
Promote retention and referral growth through strong relationship-building practices
Training & Continuous Improvement
Conduct regular training on sales techniques, products, and best practices
Communicate updates related to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans to improve performance
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within life insurance or financial services
Strong sales background with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Ability to effectively manage and motivate a fully remote team
Organized, self-motivated, and performance-focused
