About this role

  1. Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings for mechanical & wet-utilities systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, wet utilities, pump stations) based on design drawings and engineer instructions, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all drawing outputs

  2. Update drawings as required by changes from engineering team, site modifications, or consultant comments.

  3. Ensure all drawings follow project CAD standards, layer conventions, and title block requirements.

  4. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, structural, architectural) to avoid drawing clashes and support integrated design

  5. Maintain an organized archive of drawings, revisions, and reference files for easy retrieval and version control.

  6. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings based on redlines and site mark-ups.

  7. Support the engineering team by extracting quantities or preparing layout sheets when required.

  8. Prepare clear and accurate shop drawings under supervision.

  9. Follow engineer instructions precisely and consistently.

  10. Apply CAD standards and use proper layers in all drawings.

  11. Organize drawing files and maintain revision history for traceability.

  12. Support standard block and detail usage across drawing sets.

  13. Contribute to drawing library development and template updates.

  14. Set up print layouts and title blocks according to project requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil or relevant field

  • 4-5 Years of relevant experience in construction technicality

  • Road / Bridge design experience

  • Bar Bending Schedule experience

  • Understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit Structure / Civil 3D model navigation
