About the Role

The Digital Platforms Systems Support Consultant is responsible for establishing, reviewing, and realigning processes in support of company projects and initiatives. He/she is also responsible in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of technology, systems, and procedural changes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, set, and cascade new processes designs that will ensure the sound the implementation of company projects and other initiatives that may include the introduction of new technology or systems or the enforcement of procedural changes.
  • Execute a communication and deployment strategy whenever there are new technologies or processes to be implemented. He should be able to ensure that all stakeholders are consulted and properly informed of the impending changes and that they are aware, and have prepared for, the effects of such changes.
  • Spearhead the review of the capabilities of systems and processes being used and propose the necessary enhancements. He/she should validate the output of solutions developed by IT against the defined processes and user specifications
  • Design strategies and implementation plan to ensure that for User Acceptance Testing, the following has been duly developed and analyzed:  A User Test Plan – to determine the strategy of the testing; A User Test Script to ensure that all possible scenarios have been identified and ; User Test Result documentation to ensure that the results are acceptable.
  • Manage the time and cost spent on each project making sure that the prioritization for all activities have been set and they have been properly imputed into the budget for the year. He/she should manage each activity with as little variance from the target timeline as possible and with as little variance from the budget as possible
  • Act as a reliable SME for systems and processes that are being implemented in the company. As such he/she is expected to understand the nature of each activity, the context as to why it is being done, the basis upon which it is being implemented and the logic as to how it is being done. On the other hand, he/she should be able to know how to reverse and correct issues or prevent them if possible.
  • Spearhead communications with other departments and external partners to ensure that their requirements are considered in the implementation of new processes and system enhancements
  • Conduct studies as defined by users including but not limited to the following:

  • Manpower / Resource Evaluation
  • Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Options Analysis
  • Feasibility Studies

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • A graduate of a  4 year business related course, preferably, a graduate of BS Industrial Engineering
  • 6 years of experience in business analysis, process reengineering or systems and control implementation
