If you are a go-getter who thrives in a dynamic environment, this sales support will give you hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of corporate employee benefits, health & wellness.

In this role, you will be responsible for maximising the sales of AIA products and services through brokers to meet individual / team quotas and AIA business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key decision makers and influencers at assigned brokers
  • Conduct regular broker visits, presentations, and workshops to keep them informed of new products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.
  •  Facilitate open communication channels between brokers and internal teams (underwriting, claims, and product development) to ensure brokers' needs and feedback are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and implement broker engagement programs to gain more market share
  • Work closely with brokers to identify client needs and develop customized insurance solutions, including group health, life, disability, and wellness programs.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies in collaboration with the underwriting team to ensure products are attractive and profitable.
  • Ensure all sales activities and broker engagements adhere to the company’s compliance policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key decision makers and influencers at assigned brokers
  • Working closely with team members to ensure the overall sales target are met.
  • Track and monitor sales pipeline development, ensuring that all opportunities are followed up promptly and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree with min. 2 years related industry experience 
  • Certifications/licenses – HI, M5 and M9
  • Proven experience in business development and account management, preferably in the insurance sector with a focus on employee benefits
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance broking channel and employee benefit products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently within a team with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Familiarity with underwriting processes, claims management, and policy administration related to employee benefits
