About the Role

This is a senior leadership and people‑management role responsible for driving Operations Transformation and supporting the business through digital enablement, backend applications, and strategic execution. The role oversees both strategic planning and day‑to‑day management to deliver the company’s operations, transformation, and digitalization agenda.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic and corporate planning to deliver Operations, transformation and digitalization objectives: 60%

  • Leads strategic and corporate planning to deliver Operations, Transformation and Digitalization objectives, ensuring backend systems, digital platforms, and operational processes effectively support business growth and efficiency.
  • Drives the implementation of Services & Operations initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational performance, and workflow efficiency. (20%)
  • Formulates and governs the Quality Assurance (QA) framework for policy data; executes, monitors, and continuously improves QA standards and controls. (10%)
  • Applies a strategic mindset and corporate‑level thinking, proactively advising senior management with innovative, human‑centered, and future‑ready recommendations for departmental planning. (10%)
  • Leads the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely delivery of project objectives. (10%)
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt new technologies, tools, and market practices to improve operational efficiency, maintain competitiveness, and meet regulatory requirements, including obtaining relevant licenses if involved in regulated activities. (5%)
  • Evaluates business processes, identifies gaps or inefficiencies, and develops practical, scalable solutions that create measurable impact. (5%)

People management: 40%

  • Builds a resourceful, collaborative, and high‑performance team culture, providing coaching, guidance, and leadership to develop future-ready talent. (15%)
  • Maintains strong and effective partnerships with stakeholders, business units, and external partners to achieve company and departmental objectives. (15%)
  • Oversees training, development, and competency uplift for team members; ensures those conducting regulated activities obtain the required licenses and remain fully compliant with licensing requirements. (10%)

Job Requirements:

  • University degree holder with minimum 8 years of working experience in a life insurance company and markable experience in project management
  • Bearing a strategic and corporate thinking mindset, accountable with a strong sense of customer centricity
  • Team player, strong leadership and team building skill
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal, relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; dare to think out of box and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent command of spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
