About the Role

Act as the voice of Agency to shape product direction, strategy and campaign design. Translate agency needs into product requirements, ensure the product shelf aligns with business priorities, and drive product-led business momentum that empowers sales performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Represent Agency Product Needs

  • Identify, analyze and articulate product gaps, opportunities and needs specific to agency distribution.
  • Consolidate frontline insights to inform product enhancement, proposition design, and positioning.
  • Partner with relevant functional teams (e.g. Distribution Management, Product, Marketing, Finance) to ensure agency requirements are properly reflected in product development and updates.

2. Shape Product Strategy from a Sales Perspective

  • Provide sales driven strategic input to product roadmap planning.
  • Advise product teams on competitiveness, customer value, and frontline suitability.
  • Evaluate product performance and recommend strategic actions to strengthen agency adoption and business contribution.

3. Design Product & Sales Campaigns

  • Develop campaign strategies that address agency pain points, market opportunities and business momentum needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft campaign mechanics, incentives, communication, and activation plans.
  • Track campaign performance and impact, providing insights for continuous improvement.

4. Influence Product Shelf Management

  • Assess and manage product shelf relevance for agency distribution.
  • Recommend additions, re-positioning or retirement of products to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure the product shelf supports strategic business goals such as case count, ANP, quality mix, protection focus, and long-term value creation.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in insurance product development, proposition, strategy, operations, or distribution roles
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and concepts
  • Experience working with agency distribution highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data/insights into strategic recommendations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Self-driven, proactive, able to work with ambiguity and influence cross-functional stakeholders Candidate must be able to speak and write Chinese.
