About the Role

Reporting to: Actuarial Pricing, Specialist
Location: Hochiminh City
Function: Finance & Actuary | Department: Actuary - Pricing

Learning Outcomes

  • Deep knowledge in Insurance industry as well as Actuarial career
  • Understanding AIA’s insurance products and implementation process


Description

  • Contribute to review of product specifications and other product material.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, IT, Operation, …) to ensure accurate product implementation in core system.
  • Supporting scenario testing and profitability analysis of products.
  • Help prepare technical documentation for regulatory filings.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark product features and pricing.
  • Support request from other Departments relating to products / policy queries and Sales Illustrations
  • Work with Operation team to calculate policy value of various insurance products.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any) and support other members on business task.


Qualifications

  • Education: Mathematics, Computer Science background
  • Skills (technical skill):
    - Knowledge in SQL, Access or any other programming language
    - Experience working with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, a necessity.
  • Will (soft skill):
    - English fluency is necessary for this position
    - Good communication and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
  • Thrill:
    - Deep knowledge in Insurance industry as well as Actuarial career
    - Understanding AIA’s insurance product
    - Upgrade technical skills (Excel, VBA, SQL, Prophet) and soft skills (communication, time management…)
