Job Description

Currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for two of our Preschool locations.

Howard Haber ELC- 2300 Westchester Avenue Bronx, NY 10462

Esther Ashkenas ELC- 450 W 56th St New York, NY 10019

The BCBA is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across AHRC’s preschools through training and supervision of staff, implementing quantitative and qualitative outcome measures, and participating in various educational planning meetings, as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Masters in Special Education, Social Work or related Human Services field. BCBA Certification required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing and/or supervising ABA service programs and staff.

Role Description:

  • Full Time OR Part Time Available | Monday-Friday/3 days per week
  • Hours: 8:00 A.M-4:00 P.M
  • 10 month program with 30 day summer session
  • Supervise development and implementation of ABA services in agency's programs to ensure overall quality and consistency in service provision.
  • Establish consistent data collection systems, to use for measuring, analyzing and creating reports on academic, social and behavioral performance.
  • Participate in Child Study meetings, IEP reviews, Behavior Support planning and parent clinics, whenever needed.
  • Proven ability to provide expert supervision to staff on an individual or group level, based on ongoing and current knowledge of theory, research and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Lead Functional Analysis processes as required.
  • Must be willing to travel to school sites on a regular basis.
