Agropur is looking for Distribution Supervisor -14 months contract to join is team. Based in Bedford, the Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of the retail distribution network.

Salary range 004: $71 200 to $89 000 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
What’s involved in this role:
More specifically, the Bedford Distribution Supervisor's responsibilities will include:
Daily management of the direct to store deliveries for major retail accounts.
Participate in and suggest cost savings initiatives to improve network results.
Analyze and explain the costs associated with routes under your responsibility.
Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of route equipment (ex: handhelds, printers, pallet movers, etc.)
Support Agropur’s third party carriers with billing concerns and route quantities analysis.
Work with our internal operation teams in warehousing and production to ensure accurate, on time delivery for our customers.
Respond to service requests from our external customers related to delivery schedules or delivery requirements.
Assist with Holiday Planning and delivery schedules.
Facilitate off day and emergency order requests.
Additional tasks and general duties as required.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor or College degree in a relevant field an asset.
3-5 years of experience in food production/distribution management.
Experience in a unionized environment.
Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) an asset.
