Operating across the US,</div><div>Europe and Asia Markets with teams of 575+ experts, we are building privacy-first ad infrastructure that</div><div>opens up opportunities beyond the walled gardens.<br><br></div><div><strong>Type of role:&nbsp;</strong>Module Lead Systems Administration<br><br></div><div><strong>Work Location:&nbsp;</strong>Mumbai (Malad)<br><br></div><div><strong>About the Job:</strong></div><div>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional in the systems administration domain.</div><div>This is a key role that requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work</div><div>effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><div>•&nbsp;Server and Infrastructure Management: Maintain, upgrade, and manage servers, software,</div><div>hardware, networks, and tools necessary for efficient operations.</div><div>•&nbsp;Server Installation and Configuration: Administer the installation, configuration, and</div><div>optimization of servers, including web servers and database servers.</div><div>•&nbsp;Automation and Process Improvement: Handle automation of services and processes to</div><div>improve system efficiency and reliability. Should have knowledge on CICD, GIT, SVN.</div><div>•&nbsp;Performance Monitoring: Configure and monitor various performance measurement and</div><div>monitoring services to ensure a healthy and efficient infrastructure.</div><div>•&nbsp;Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve problems quickly, troubleshooting</div><div>issues and outages that may occur. Should have knowledge on using tools like nmap, tcpdump,</div><div>tcpflow, iptraf, netstat etc.</div><div>•&nbsp;Security Implementation: Ensure security through access control, backups, firewalls, and</div><div>compliance with relevant regulations.</div><div>•&nbsp;Documentation: Regularly document all processes, incidents, technical insights, manuals, and</div><div>IT policies related to the infrastructure and inform involved teams.</div><div>•&nbsp;Support for Developers: Provide support to developers by offering data insights, reports,</div><div>analysis, and actionable recommendations related to the server infrastructure and application</div><div>processes.</div><div>•&nbsp;Research and Innovation: Research and develop innovative solutions to enhance the</div><div>architecture and create a better infrastructure based on industry trends.</div><div>•&nbsp;Linux Expertise: Possess strong familiarity with Linux operating systems, especially Debian,</div><div>Infrastructure as Code, and applications, should have strong knowledge on shell scripting.</div><div>•&nbsp;Monthly Patching and Security Fixes: Perform monthly patching of Linux infrastructure to</div><div>address security issues and vulnerabilities.</div><div>•&nbsp;Security Reporting and Monitoring: Deliver regular reports to security leadership on remediation</div><div>efforts, implement continuous monitoring to measure and report on control areas like patching,</div><div>hardening, audit and log configuration, and authentication mechanisms.</div><div>•&nbsp;Information Security Hardening: Follow information security hardening guidelines such as CIS</div><div>to ensure a secure infrastructure, Hardening Apache, nginx, MySQL, PHP applications etc.</div><div>•&nbsp;Vulnerability Management: Assist in identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities, and work with</div><div>asset owners to prioritize patch remediation, should have knowledge on using tools like Nmap,</div><div>Nikto, and other pen test tools.</div><div>•&nbsp;Risk Assessment: Classify and prioritize the risk of vulnerabilities, considering mitigating</div><div>factors and impacts of internal and external threats.</div><div>These responsibilities collectively aim to ensure the smooth and secure functioning of the</div><div>infrastructure, maintain system performance, and protect against potential security risks.</div><div><br><strong>Required Skills:</strong></div><div>•&nbsp;4+ years of industry experience handling *nix-based infrastructure as a System Administrator</div><div>or Dev Ops.</div><div>•&nbsp;Security, compliance, understanding of AI ML Ops, Spark and Kafka.</div><div>•&nbsp;Supporting and administrating Linux (Debian and RedHat based distributions).</div><div>•&nbsp;Ability to work in multi-datacenter, hybrid cloud, multi-server, large-scale environment.</div><div>•&nbsp;Knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP), AWS and other cloud technologies, cloud-computing,</div><div>containerization, clustering, and virtualization technologies.</div><div>•&nbsp;Expertise in handling database servers, networks (LAN, WAN), with good knowledge of</div><div>TCP/IP, with experience on Kernel upgrade.</div><div>•&nbsp;Strong expertise with Shell scripting. Python, Perl, or other scripting languages is a plus.</div><div>•&nbsp;Experience with DevOps - Chef, Puppet, Ansible or other such automation tools.</div><div>•&nbsp;Experience with handling distributed data-storage &amp; computation platforms like Cloudera</div><div>Hadoop, Apache Spark is a plus.</div><div>•&nbsp;Best understanding on security best practices with managing backup processes for servers and</div><div>databases. Exposure to data encryption, IAM role management, network firewall administration,</div><div>security audit processes, scheduled network scans etc.</div><div>•&nbsp;Experience handling installation and optimization of: Apache Webserver, Nginx, Bind/DNS,</div><div>Nagios, iptables, LDAP, VPN, Munin, SVN, and GIT.</div><div>•&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science with passion for server administration with</div><div>any *nix certification is a plus.</div><div>•&nbsp;Excellent communication skills, ability to tailor technical information for different audiences.</div><div>Excellent teamwork skills, ability to self-start, share insights, ask questions, and report progress.</div>
