We are looking for a Performance Manager to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers.
This role is ideal for an analytical, strategic, and results-driven individual who understands how to connect long-term strategy with data-driven investment decisions that create value. The Performance Manager will support the design, implementation, and evolution of Aeromexico’s performance and strategic prioritization model, serving as a key bridge between Strategy, Finance, Data & Analytics, and business teams to translate insights into actionable decisions at the C-Level.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Actuary, Engeneering, Finance, etc.. (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Solid foundation in corporate finance concepts (NPV, ROI, IRR, payback).
- Knowledge of performance frameworks such as OKRs, KPIs, and input/output metrics.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, innovation initiatives, and MVP-driven experimentation.
Experience:
- Proven experience in performance management, business analytics, or Data Governance Process.
- Strong background in data science / modeling.
- Experience designing and automating performance monitoring processes.
- Hands-on development of dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Collaboration with Strategy, Finance, and Data & Analytics teams to support prioritization models and executive decision-making. Design a scalable performance process.
Skills to succeed:
- Proficiency in process design and documentation.
- Experience in data science and modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Experience with SQL for querying and data cleaning.
- Strong data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or Data Studio).
- Structured thinking and executive communication.
- Self-starter mindset with curiosity and autonomy to build from scratch.
- Lateral influence and resilience in dynamic environments.
- Ability to translate data into clear stories and strategic actions.
