Group Product Manager, Adyen Uplift


In building the most customer-focused financial technology platform, Adyen is leveraging Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning to optimize how we generate and demonstrate value for our global enterprise customers. Adyen Uplift is our AI-powered product suite balancing conversion increase with cost savings and fraud reduction, from Checkout to settlement.


We are looking for a Group Product Manager to build and lead a team of highly impactful product managers across Uplift, ranging from our Checkout products broadly, the Uplift modules Optimize and Personalize specifically, as well as the Uplift Experience (UI) in our customer area. 


 


What you will do



  • You will build and lead a team of product managers focused on product development for Adyen Uplift, both on your specific areas and with a strong focus on cross-module synergies across the full Adyen Uplift scope;

  • You will be responsible for formulating, challenging, leading and executing on a strategic vision for customer value demonstration, success measurement and payment funnel optimization across customers’ most important KPIs;

  • You will work across Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, UX, Product teams and closely collaborate with commercial teams such as Sales/AMs, Product Marketing and Pricing.


Who you are



  • You have launched and evolved multiple successful products at scale across every stage of the product lifecycle (12+ years in product management);

  • You have autonomously delivered impact by leading and leveraging a portfolio of product managers across product areas;

  • You are effective in finding, growing, leading and retaining talent in product management (3+ years of management experience);

  • You have proven to formulate and translate customer-centric strategy into tangible value and know how to balance short-term delivery with short and long term impact in mind;

  • You succeed in creating a multiplier effect, in connecting with other leaders on opportunities and scaling impactful ways of working;

  • You can guide a cross-functional (stakeholder) team with the right questions to answer, turn those answers into business value, and leverage analytics to drive product decisions;

  • You know how to navigate technical challenges and understand the opportunities and limitations of technical/data decisions;

  • You are skilled at operating in a diverse, ever-growing, global company where your teams need to collaborate and integrate with other teams across many disciplines.

  • You are a quick learner and take a ‘launch fast and iterate’ approach to tackling problems;

  • You love to act as a mentor and help guide talent to make optimal decisions;

  • You take pride in putting your team first, you value team and company success over ego;

  • You have experience in one or more of the following areas: Big Data / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence AND Payments / e-commerce.

This role is based out of our Chicago office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.


This is a full time position and does require working the occasional holiday and/or weekend to ensure business continuity.
