About this role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compiles and analyzes business and budgeting information for Commercial and BD
- Assists these teams in the annual budgeting process
- Assists in the preparation of business reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Reviews and prepares business highlights for Senior Management presentations
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
- Prepares in-depth analysis of current and prospective customers, markets, and industries to support strategy development and execution
- Conducts in-depth analysis of relevant product-market combinations, including chemicals, gases, fuels, and emerging sustainable energy products, to understand supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Monitor and scan the market in various regions across the Americas, including the US Gulf Coast region (with a primary focus on Houston Ship Channel/Texas City/Galveston/Freeport) for economic, regulatory, and industry developments that could impact bulk liquid storage and logistics.
- Evaluate market data to assess implications for Advario’s operations, such as shifts in storage demand, infrastructure needs, or partnership potential.
- Identify and recommend strategic opportunities for Advario to pursue, including expansions, new product integrations, or collaborations in the fuels, chemicals, gases and energy transition space.
- Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, commercial, finance) to align market insights with business objectives.
- Stay updated on global and regional trends in the liquid storage sector, including ESG factors, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.

- The Business Analyst compiles and analyzes business and budgeting information, assists in the annual budgeting process, and prepares business reports for management. They also conduct in-depth market analysis and identify strategic opportunities for the company.
