Responsibilities

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll play a key role in helping patients reclaim independence, function, and quality of life.

  • Carry out personalized therapy plans in collaboration with OTs and interdisciplinary teams
  • Promote functional mobility, adaptive techniques, and daily living skills
  • Foster engagement, motivation, and a positive experience for every patient
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to measurable outcomes
  • Communicate progress and partner with families and caregivers for lasting results

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (AOTA/ACOTE standards)
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of practice
