THE ROLE: 

The Technical Program Manager will lead and coordinate complex projects focused on signal and power integrity within the Technology and Engineering Organization. This role requires driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions. The TPM will manage program risks, align stakeholders, and facilitate communication across engineering teams to meet AMD’s product goals. 

 

THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Program Manager with a strong technical foundation in hardware design or signal and power integrity. They possess excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate across diverse engineering teams. Experience in semiconductor or related industries managing complex technical programs is essential. A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of signal and power integrity programs across multiple engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with design, validation, and product teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage program risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Track program progress and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience with high-speed digital design and power delivery network analysis
  • Organizing and aligning cross-functional teams toward a common goal

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Excel  
  • Experience with Agile methodology 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Masters or Bachelors engineering degree, preferably in electrical or computer engineering 
  • PMP Certification is preferred
