JOB DETAILS:

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA
  • Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours per week), onsite or remote work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
  • Duration: 
    • Summer Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 or June 22, 2026 – September 11, 2026

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Business development – Server workloads  to join our team and participate in research and development of next-generation product differentiation features with extraordinary engineers. In this role –

 

  • Partner capabilities identification: strategic, technological, business, operational fit
  • Partner engagement model definition: co-engineering, invest, hire, contract – determination of optimal relationship
  •  Reusability, scalability of partners - redundancies of capabilities, availability
  • Ecosystem identification: ISV, IHV, OEMs, ODMs, Sys Int, Foundry, end customer
  • Workload identification: heterogeneity, specialized software, applicability to strategize
  • Requirements generation for next generation silicon: pain points driven, performance demands, TCO aligned
  • Business case building activities:  capabilities identification, customer targets, PoC definition, event demos, GTM schedule, volumes/ASPs estimate

 

 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

 

This role requires a multi-disciplinary skillset, a growth mentality, and a results-oriented bias for action. You will work with hardware and software engineering and architects, marketing, sales, finance, corporate strategy, legal, and others to grow and strengthen AMD’s server business.

 

  • You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Undergrad program majoring in  EE/CS in progress

  • Ability to work with cross range of teams including engineering, legal, finance, sales, and operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with technical and non-technical partners
  • Someone who enjoys problem solving and can work quickly
