About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate SG&A is a key contributor within the enterprise FP&A organization, supporting corporate functions through financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role partners closely with senior finance and business leaders to deliver high-quality forecasts, clear financial insights, and well-framed recommendations that support decision-making, risk management, and disciplined execution across the organization. This position works closely with the Director of FP&A and has regular visibility to executive leadership, including exposure to C-suite discussions, materials, and decision-making.

About the Team

The Corporate SG&A FP&A team is a critical part of the enterprise FP&A function, partnering with leaders across the business to drive financial discipline, performance visibility, and strategic decision-making. The team supports core corporate functions including Accounting, Executive, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Merchandising, Marketing, Technology, Real Estate, and other shared services. We operate as trusted advisors to the business, balancing analytical rigor with clear communication, strong judgment, and consistent follow-through.

What You’ll Do

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Own annual, quarterly, and periodic forecasts for assigned Corporate SG&A functions, including developing assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and applying driver-based analysis.
• Lead complex forecasting workstreams and ensure alignment, accuracy, and consistency across plans.
• Play a significant role in long-range planning activities, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Business Plan (SBP), and scenario and sensitivity analysis.

Analysis, Insight & Executive Storytelling

• Perform deep variance and trend analysis to identify root causes, emerging risks, and opportunities.
• Translate complex financial analysis into clear, concise, executive-ready narratives that explain implications, tradeoffs, and recommended actions.
• Develop high-quality reporting and presentation materials for senior leadership and C-suite audiences.

Business Partnership & Influence

• Serve as a primary finance partner to leaders within assigned Corporate SG&A functions.
• Partner closely with the Director of FP&A, supporting executive discussions, preparing leadership materials, and helping drive priorities across the FP&A agenda.
• Influence decision-making by clearly articulating financial risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Process Improvement, Automation & Technical Leadership

• Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, and scalability.
• Drive automation and standardization across FP&A models, reporting, and workflows.
• Raise the bar on analytical rigor, structure, and best practices across the team through example and collaboration.

Execution, Judgment & Confidentiality

• Own complex timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional workstreams with minimal oversight.
• Apply strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Work regularly with highly sensitive and confidential financial information, including executive compensation, strategic initiatives, and forward-looking plans, with discretion and integrity.
• Translate analysis and discussion into clear actions, decisions, and follow-through.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong technical finance and analytical skills with demonstrated financial judgment.
• Experience building complex forecasts, models, and scenario analyses.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial systems and data.
• Ability to create clear, executive-ready financial narratives and materials.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex, competing priorities.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Confidence working with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
