The Opportunity

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. We are looking for an experienced Greenfield Account Executive for a Retail patch with focus on our Adobe Experience Cloud business (DX). The role can be based in one of our Adobe offices or remotely.


As an Account Executive for a Retail Greenfield patch you will work with senior business and technology leaders across Germany to drive digital transformation, accelerate growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking motivated sales professionals who thrive in building new business, managing complex sales cycles, and developing trusted executive relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive New Business: Identify, develop, and close opportunities with key enterprise accounts in Germany, focusing on new customer acquisition (Greenfield).

  • Develop Account Strategies: Build strategic account plans that connect Adobe’s solutions to each customer’s priorities and business outcomes.

  • Engage Decision-Makers: Partner with senior executives to understand their challenges and demonstrate the value of Adobe’s digital experience solutions.

  • Deliver Business Impact: Show how Adobe technology can optimize customer experiences and deliver measurable results.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with Solution Consultants, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact to implementation.

What You’ll Need

  • Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and exceeding revenue targets.

  • New Business Focus: Experience in identifying and winning new enterprise customers in competitive markets, especially within the retail industry.

  • Ability to lead account teams, influence collaborators, and navigate complex decision processes.

  • Apply data and insights to develop convincing arguments and sales strategies.

  • Outcome Orientation: Oriented towards achieving outcomes, excelling in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

  • Language Skills: Fluent German and strong English communication skills are essential
