Who we are looking for:

A Senior Manager, Credit is responsible for managing and developing the process for all aspects of the credit function. This position is further responsible for overseeing and leading teams of Credit along with Credit Analysts assessing and mitigating credit risk while ensuring that credit policies and procedures are followed. This role is crucial in the strategic development of credit risk assessment, policy development, and credit operations to ensure the organization’s credit portfolio remains healthy and profitable.

 

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop goals and KPIs reporting and escalation framework for multiple teams and provide oversight and guidance to people managers to support alignment and progress updates.
  • Establish the end-to-end credit evaluation process, ensuring managers implement established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to their teams.
  • Design credit risk models, leveraging data analytics to enhance credit assessment accuracy and predictability.
  • Establish and lead managers to implement the process for assessing creditworthiness of prospective and existing clients in the technology and automotive industries.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership of Capital Sales, Collections and other teams to structure credit solutions that align with clients' needs and risk profiles.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to institute and lead informed credit decisions and recommendations to multiple teams.
  • Oversee periodic reviews of existing credit facilities, adjusting terms and conditions as needed based on performance and risk evaluation.
  • Partner with VP of Risk to review insights on credit risk trends, portfolio performance, and potential areas for business expansion.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments in the technology and automotive sectors that may impact credit risk.
  • Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders such as credit bureaus, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related required.
  • CFA, FRM, or CPA certification preferred
  • 8+ years’ Experience in Credit Risk Management, Underwriting or Financial Analysis.
  • 3+ years’ Experience leading credit teams
  • Experience with credit policy development and regulatory compliance
  • Strong experience with credit risk tools and software
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills for strategic credit decisions
  • Proven team management and leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

 

Compensation: $112,000 - $135,000 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
