About the Project
The ASWA project forms part of the Alkimos Seawater Alliance project, a major water security initiative for Perth. The marine scope delivers offshore works that support the plant’s intake and outfall structures. This includes barge-based construction, marine transit and offshore installation in dynamic ocean conditions. The project strengthens long-term water supply by building resilient marine infrastructure. ACCIONA leads the marine delivery with strong expertise in complex coastal works.
About the Opportunity
You lead safety on the barge across a 2 on 2 off roster that rotates between day and night shifts. You oversee barge risk, emergency support, safety controls and communication with marine teams. You work with Construction Marine teams and external stakeholders and report to the Health and Safety Operations Manager. You port from Mindarie Marina before each swing.

- Lead risk review across barge work
- Support emergency response offshore
- Manage safe transit from marina to barge
- Strengthen safety communication
- Maintain compliance across marine work
- Build effective stakeholder support
Required Skills and Competencies
- Minimum First Aid certificate
- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
- Marine or port safety experience
- Offshore work experience preferred
- Nursing or medic background advantageous
