The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Structural Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and delivering smart, practical solutions. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering critical infrastructure that supports communities and transforms landscapes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design and analysis of a diverse range of structures, such as water retaining structures, industrial buildings and facilities. Participate in industrial projects including water treatment plants, desalination plants, and energy facilities, ensuring solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with client and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for reinforced concrete and structural steel elements, with a focus on constructability, durability, and lifecycle performance.

  • Conduct comprehensive site inspections, including work in confined spaces and at heights, to assess structural conditions, verify design implementation, and support construction teams. I believe this one is not required.

  • Contribute to asset condition assessments, structural integrity reviews, and maintenance planning to support long-term infrastructure resilience and operational safety.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, geotechnical, process, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and environmental engineers, to deliver integrated and innovative project solutions.

  • Ensure technical excellence across all aspects of your work, including structural calculations, design documentation, specifications, and reporting, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Proven experience in large infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and construction methodologies

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Willingness to travel and work in diverse environments
