Rate: $16.50/hr  

Hours: Varied (Part-Time Only)

JOB SUMMARY  

Under the direction of the Working Supervisor/Team Leader, the housekeeper is responsible for performing the cleaning duties specific to each job. Duties and hours may vary depending upon the size of the home and the number of Cleaning Technicians he/she may be working with. Ability to learn proper cleaning techniques using green cleaning products is essential. The Cleaning Technician may be responsible for any or all of the following tasks:  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*  

Restrooms  

Cleans and sanitizes countertops, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, mirrors, floors, etc. Wipes/polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.  

Floors  

Sweeps and cleans floors using brooms, mops and/or vacuum cleaners for carpets. Special Orders for floors may include polishing and waxing.  

Kitchens  

   

Cleans and sanitizes sinks, countertops, stovetops, microwaves and refrigerators. Tables and chairs. Sweeps and mops floors.  Special Orders: Laundry, cleaning inside of refrigerator or stove, loading dishwasher or washing dishes.  

Living Room, Dining Room, Family Rooms, Dens & Bedrooms  

Dusts and vacuums furniture (chairs, sofas, tables, lamps, knick knacks, etc.). Cleans floors and vacuums carpets. Makes beds.  

Trash  

Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area.  

Additional Functions  

Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaner. Wipes marks off walls and dusts woodwork. Washes and/or wipes inside windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.

EXPECTATIONS  

  • Successfully complete training program. 
  • Report to agreed-upon meeting location on time. 
  • After arriving at job site, complete work efficiently and timely and with excellent quality. 
  • Comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (wearing gloves, reporting incidents, etc.). 
  • Provide excellent level of customer service. 
  • Be receptive to feedback and improving job performance.
