Location: West Point, NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 3-11:30pm
Rate: $18.86

OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
This position will be responsible for the cleaning of A school building in the West Point area. Quality assurance, maintaining overhead costs, and ensuring high customer service standards are the major tasks associated with this position.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Floor Care (knowledge of scrubbers or auto-buffers a plus)
- Cleaning of restrooms
- Window cleaning
- Removing of trash and recyclables
- Vacuuming & Dusting
- Possible snow removal
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:
- Works as part of a team to ensure the requirements of the contract are fulfilled
- Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience
- Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi- task
- Good customer service skills
- Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function as part of a cohesive team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous cleaning experience required
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Capable of walking between buildings to get to other locations
- Must be capable of standing for several hours
- Must be able to moving arms back and forth in a “mopping” motion
- Must be able to lift >20 lbs
- Must be able to push a shovel
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
- Must be able to reach overhead to get at higher locations
