Location: Newburgh, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:30pm (flexibility required)  


Job Description:  

In this role you will:  

Function as an assistant to the Caseworkers  

  • Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/Family Court or other appointments deemed necessary by the Senior Caseworker or Supervisor
  • Assist caseworkers with transporting of families and supervise visitation between parent and child when such is required by the Orange County Department of Social Services
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties while at the job site.

 

Qualifications:   

The ideal candidate will have:  

  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to work with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Two years of community services work experiences
