The Work: 


The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in the application migration team by leveraging data to drive informed decision-making throughout the migration process. This position is responsible for compiling and analyzing complex datasets, maintaining comprehensive reports, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders. The Senior Data Analyst works within Agile frameworks to support the team's data-driven approach to application assessment, migration planning, and post-migration evaluation.


Key Responsibilities



  • Collect and consolidate data from various sources related to application performance, usage, and migration progress

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all datasets

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of application data to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues

  • Perform statistical analysis to support decision-making in the migration process

  • Design and create comprehensive reports on various aspects of the migration project

  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data insights

  • Maintain and update regular reports on migration progress, performance metrics, and KPIs

  • Create compelling visual representations of data findings using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar

  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Develop and deliver presentations on migration analytics to various levels of the organization

  • Conduct pre- and post-migration comparisons to evaluate the success of migration efforts

  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making at all levels of the project

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the migration project

  • Develop metrics to measure the success and efficiency of the migration process

  • Create and maintain scorecards to track progress against project goals

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives)

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine data-related user stories


Requirements:



  • Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years experience

  • Secret Security Clerance required

  • Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders to understand business process, pain points, and insights that will deliver greatest value to the mission

  • Building and maintaining visualizations and dashboards in enterprise Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Microstrategy) or custom coding (D3, React, CSS)

  • Performing complex data pre-processing (joins, unions, aggregations) using tools and languages like SQL, R, or Python

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$114,700$221,100 USD
