The Change Management Senior Consultant is responsible for leading the design and execution of change management strategies that enable successful adoption of enterprise initiatives. This role partners closely with business leaders and program teams to translate strategy into actionable change plans that drive engagement, readiness, and sustained behavior change. 


The Senior Consultant operates as a trusted advisor, bringing structured change methodologies, strong stakeholder acumen, and pragmatic execution to complex, cross-functional transformations




The Work:


Change Strategy & Planning



  • Lead end-to-end change management for medium to large initiatives, including organizational, process, technology, and operating model changes.

  • Develop integrated change strategies aligned to business objectives, timelines, and risk profiles.

  • Conduct change impact and readiness assessments to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.


Stakeholder & Leader Engagement



  • Partner with executive sponsors, program leaders, and functional stakeholders to clarify roles, expectations, and sponsorship actions.

  • Coach leaders and managers on their role in driving change, including communications, reinforcement, and feedback loops.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders and accelerate decision-making.


Communications & Engagement





  • Collaborate with corporate function teams to develop targeted, audience-specific change communications.

  • Translate complex program information into clear, compelling messaging that supports understanding and adoption.

  • Ensure communications are sequenced and reinforced in alignment with change milestones


Adoption & Enablement



  • Design and implement adoption plans, including training alignment, toolkits, manager enablement materials, and reinforcement tactics.

  • Identify and track adoption metrics, feedback, and change outcomes.


Measurement & Continuous Improvement



  • Define success measures for change initiatives and monitor progress throughout delivery.

  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback to assess effectiveness and recommend course corrections.

  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to enterprise change standards, tools, and playbooks.


Here's what you need:



  • 7–10+ years of experience in change management, organizational transformation, or consulting roles.

  • Demonstrated experience leading change for complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong working knowledge of formal change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent).

  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build credibility with senior leaders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating strategy into actionable plans


 


As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.


 

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$94,700$180,600 USD
