Job Summary

Drive the growth and profitability of the medical bancassurance portfolio through building and managing strategic bank partnerships, developing tailored offerings, and ensuring excellent customer experience, compliance, and market insight to maximize revenue and business impact.

Job Description

Bancassurance Business Acquisition

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with banking partners to grow the medical insurance portfolio.
  • Design and implement tailored medical insurance solutions for bancassurance channels to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and advertisements that drive awareness and sales through bank channels.
  • Monitor and manage sales pipelines & proposals to ensure timely execution and healthy business growth.

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with bank partners, intermediaries, and marketing teams.
  • Conduct regular partner engagement, product training, and promotional briefings to enhance sales performance and ensure compliance.
  • Support partner staff in achieving sales targets, delivering high-quality customer service, and executing marketing initiatives effectively.

Market & Channel Intelligence

  • Gather insights on bancassurance trends, competitor offerings, market campaigns, and customer preferences.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives, including advertising and promotional activities, to improve penetration, engagement, and profitability within bank partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to track campaign effectiveness and optimize future strategies.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure high-quality client engagement across bancassurance channels.
  • Address partner or customer issues in coordination with internal teams to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure marketing communications, advertisements, and promotional content meet regulatory standards and reinforce a positive customer experience.

Reports & Compliance

  • Ensure 100% adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements for intermediaries, premium collection, and marketing communications.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on medical bancassurance performance, including pipeline status, conversions, revenue contribution, marketing impact, and lessons learned.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance or in related field.
  • Relevant professional qualification in Insurance, - ACII, AIIK
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or partnership management.
  • Additional qualifications in sales and marketing would be an added advantage.
