Our core mission is clear: ensure budget efficiency, deliver accurate performance forecasts, and provide actionable insights that optimize every marketing investment.
As a Business Controller (m/f/d), you will take ownership of reporting, prepare independent analyses, and contribute to strategic marketing planning, ensuring cost transparency and supporting the company's success.
Responsibilities
- Create clear and concise reports and dashboards, translating complex data into strategic narratives for key stakeholders
- Actively assist in conducting efficiency and cost analyses to drive cost transparency and highlight optimization opportunities in marketing spend
- Analyze and monitor performance holistically across all markets, deriving actionable insights and recommendations to guide investment decisions
- Support the entire marketing planning, forecasting, and financial closing processes
- Continuously develop, automate, and improve internal processes and reporting tools
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and provide foundational support for special projects
- Manage interfaces between Finance, Online Marketing & Marketing Intelligence
Requirements
- Excellent degree in an analytical field, e.g., Economics or Business Administration
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in business controlling, marketing analytics, marketing controlling or related areas, preferably in an e-commerce environment
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Data Studio is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Ability to quickly grasp processes and analyses and communicate them clearly
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
