Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Seamstress/factory operative with a background in manufacturing or production environments to join our team. This role involves sewing-related tasks, general cleaning, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will be flexible, hands-on, and willing to take on a variety of duties to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate sewing machines for SEG graphics, alterations, and repairs, ensuring high quality standards
-Work with a variety of fabrics and materials, adhering to production specifications.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and tidying workspace and equipment regularly.
-Assist with shop floor cleaning duties to ensure health and safety standards are met.
-Support the team with general factory duties, including inventory management, stock organization, and light administrative tasks.
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and improve workflow.
-Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
-Be flexible to take on additional roles as needed, including supporting administrative and cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
-Proven experience working in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment.
-Sewing skills is essential; a willingness to learn and assist with sewing tasks is important.
-Comfortable operating industrial sewing machines and other factory equipment.
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
-Reliable, adaptable, and proactive in taking on a variety of roles within the team.
-Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
-Ability to work efficiently within scheduled hours and meet deadlines.
