Position Summary:
ABC Imaging is seeking a talented Graphics Artist with 3-5 years of experience in printing and digital graphics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our high-end retail clients, supporting complex large-format projects, including vehicle wraps, bus tiling, and other large-scale graphics. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and eager to grow within a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities:
-Receive and process incoming jobs requiring art production, digital manipulation, or output.
-Preflight digital files to ensure accurate reproduction aligned with customer expectations and industry standards.
-Continuously analyze and improve preflight and prepress workflows, staying current with industry best practices.
-Maintain proper calibration of digital printing equipment, utilizing RIP software and color calibration tools to ensure color accuracy and consistency.
-Collaborate with scheduling and production teams to meet project deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency.
-Proof all jobs meticulously for accuracy in content, color, size, and production specifications.
-Assist the graphics and digital production teams as needed to support project execution.
-Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and familiarity with Caldera or similar print management software.
-Apply color management principles, including ICC profiling and color gamut management, to ensure consistent print results.
Qualifications:
-3-5 years of experience in printing, digital graphics, or prepress operations.
-Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
-Experience in file preparation and "fixing" for print-ready status, including preflighting, layering, trapping, knockout, and overprints.
-Proven ability to handle complex large-format projects such as vehicle wraps, bus graphics, and variable graphics with multiple configurations.
-Solid understanding of color management, ICC profiling, and industry color standards.
-Knowledge of color calibration, color adjustment, press profiling, and color gamut limitations
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
