The Opportunity
As the Maintenance Technician I, you’ll have the chance to provides technical support to equipment utilized in manufacturing and supporting areas, by repairing and maintaining equipment, utilizing technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools and test equipment, to achieve established maintenance and production metrics/goals.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate, divisional and site policies and procedures.
Responsible of documents equipment repairs, moves and preventive maintenance performed on equipment, including part and instruments used, to assure appropriate documentation on Maximo system.
Responsible to document any work performed in Maximo using the correct WO as per applicable procedure and justify all the working hours on the system.
Responsible of maintains back-up/spare equipment, to meet equipment needs in operations and supporting areas.
Responsible to maintains maintenance areas in a clean and organize condition, including maintenance lab, mezzanine and work stations (maintenance and operations WS).
Responsible to responds to complaints on equipment and work orders (OM, PM and all WOs types), and correct it.
Shift Compressed [First week Sunday to Wednesday, second week Sunday to Tuesday, from 6am to 6:00pm]
This is an On Site position
Required Qualifications
Technical degree: electronics, electric, maintenance, mechanical
At least 70% of technical degree completed
0-1 year of experience
Experience related to equipment troubleshooting and/or equipment maintenance positions is required, preferred in medical devices companies
For internal candidates, 1 years of experience within the company.
