What You’ll Work On

• Partner with internal stakeholders to leverage supplier capabilities that best support business needs.
• Consolidate and cultivate a high-performing supplier base aligned with current and future commodity needs.
• Recommend strategic changes based on market and supplier intelligence.
• Lead cost‑reduction initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate and manage contracts/agreements for assigned commodities.
• Provide coaching and guidance to purchasing and commodity team members on contract management, negotiation, policies, and supplier engagement.
• Develop and execute risk management strategies with clear short‑ and long‑term plans.
• Identify alternate sources to support continuity of supply and maintain cost competitiveness.
• Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support enterprise success.
• Independently manage assigned suppliers, including performance monitoring and continuous improvement expectations.
• Utilize systems such as SAP, Windchill (print packages), Excel, Power BI, and quality system platforms (Epic).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement and/or category management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and solve problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and cross‑cultural.
• Ability to develop actionable implementation plans.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes and category management best practices.
• Understanding of category‑related technologies and products.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPSM, CPM, or similar professional certification.
• MBA.
• Experience with electronic components, PCBA-level sourcing, and regulated industry environments.
• Ability to read engineering prints; familiarity with supplier print package workflows (Windchill).
• Prior experience working directly with approved suppliers in performance‑managed environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI analytics, and quality system platforms (Epic).

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
