This Position reports to:
Plant Manager - MOLM IndiaIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

This role is contributing to the Motion Business for Low-Speed Synchronous Generator division based at Vadodara, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
- Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
- Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.
- Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
Qualifications for the role
- 7 to 10 years of experience in operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes.
- Full time B.E./B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical.
- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
