About this role

SUMMARY 

Position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, Shipping and Receiving, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other supply activities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Coordinates daily activities of our team and engage in daily processing to include, but not limited to, demand processing, materials handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock within Logistics. 
  • Ability to promote our missions vision, focus, and daily objectives within our program which will empower our team to excel within their daily performance. 
  • Reviews section outputs and inputs daily to maintain the flow of materials within Logistics guidelines. 
  • Develops work schedules, task assignments, and R and R for section employees. 
  • Perform risk assessments while task selection of employees. 
  • Encourage a team environment and address any deficiencies within employees performance in a manner that promotes a mission focused frame of mind. 
  • Must be able to work without supervision. 
  • Ability to meet mission objectives while maintaining contractual obligations. 
  • A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Analytical ability to define or recognize deficiencies and develop real-time solutions within mandated processes. 
  • Ability to apply acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete tasks of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Understands and follows company policies, procedures and work instructions
  • Process requisitions of materials to CONUS and OCONUS locations, as required.
  •  Research and provide input to multiple departments.
  •  Exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. 
  • Trains all employees in proper procedures. 
  • Operates forklifts, pallet loaders, pallet jacks, packing machines, package scales, and other equipment. 
  • Prioritize workload and have the flexibility to adjust based on mission requirements. 
  • Maintaining confidentiality as required is essential. 
  • Communicate with leadership and promote a stable work environment.
  • Effectively communicate with all section leadership, while promoting mission focused results.
  •  Cultivate a work environment which provides the team professional growth. Performs other duties as assigned. 

 



Required 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience, ofwhich 6 must be in a technical level or field.
  •  Position requires ability to obtain and maintain an MRPT. 
  • High school diploma or GED Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be able to multi-task. Proficient Microsoft skills, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point. 
  • Good communication skills are a must. Spanish is required in LATAM Programs. 
  • 6K - 10K Forklift Operator 

Preferred 

  • Associates degree from an accredited university or college. 
  • 2 years warehouse, shipping, receiving or inventory processing experience highly desired. 
  • Familiarity with warehousing and supply chain management programs a plus. 
  • Dangerous Goods training.
