General Description
Provide maintenance on specialized commercial HVAC systems according to Company standards providing the customer with high quality experience.
Other position details
Start up and service mechanical and electronic equipment.
Utilize hand tools and test equipment to perform work.
Review work order and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment.
Discuss assignment with customer’s representative and inspect installation site to verify that electrical wires, conduit, switches, and circuit breakers are installed according to specification.
Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to detect malfunction and repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
Document service calls and start ups noting product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional trade schools or certifications a plus
Knowledge of industry products/equipment a plus.
Knowledge and experience with a variety of hand tools.
Experience in making repair and replace decisions.
Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Mechanical aptitude and general tool knowledge
Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written.

Lift up to 50lbs.
Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Pay Range:
