Job Summary

The Training and Certification Analyst at El Carmen Manufacturing Facility will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs and certification processes for employees, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies to optimize operational efficiency and employee proficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and update comprehensive training modules and materials across various operational areas, including safety, quality control, equipment operation, and compliance.
Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for different employee groups and departments.
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, both in-person and virtually, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques.
Establish and maintain a robust certification program, including developing assessment criteria, tracking employee progress, and issuing certifications.
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and certification processes through feedback, performance metrics, and post-training assessments.
Maintain accurate records of all training activities, certifications, and employee qualifications.
Research and recommend new training technologies, methodologies, and external resources to enhance the learning experience.
Ensure all training and certification activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, IATF), and legal requirements.
Assist in the onboarding process for new employees by providing essential foundational training.

Required Skills and Education

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

  Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in the design, development, and delivery of effective training programs.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards is a plus.
