7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. is looking for motivated Full-time, Class 5 Delivery Drivers to work out of our Saskatoon, SK distribution center. We are looking for reliable, ambitious, and hardworking drivers.

Job Summary


The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to local Saskatoon locations as well as travel to Regina locations ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. We operate newer model automatic transmission units with hydraulic rail gate liftgates for ease of deliveries.

Duties:

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation
  • Knowledge of Canadian Hours of Service (HOS)

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of heavy truck driving experience required. Higher Class license of 1 or 3 considered an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Successfully pass a pre-hire road test
  • Electronic Logbook Experience
  • Own a personal smartphone with a data plan (the company will pay a cellphone allowance)
  • Pass a Criminal Record Check
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Available Shift(s):

  • Variety of full-time shifts being offered

Pay Range:

  • $23.00- $24.00 per hour based on license class and experience
  • Flat Rate trip rates for longer highway routes

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay as required
