About this role

We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working Class 1 Delivery Truck Driver to join our Edmonton, AB team. This isn’t just a driving gig; it’s a hands-on role that combines skill behind the wheel with physical work on the ground. You’ll be responsible for delivering goods across the region, operating top-of-the-line equipment, and making sure everything gets where it needs to go safely and on time.

 

What You’ll Be Doing
This job is about more than just sitting behind the wheel. You’ll be trusted with getting the job done right, every time.

  • Operate company-owned trucks to deliver freight to various locations across the territory.
  • Load and unload products safely and efficiently, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.
  • Keep accurate delivery records and handle any issues or discrepancies that come up.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and the team about schedules, delays, and delivery info.
  • Follow all road safety rules, company protocols, and regulatory guidelines (including HOS and Dangerous Goods requirements when needed).
  • Keep your truck clean and in good shape, you take pride in your ride.

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Valid Class 1 license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • At minimum 2 years of recent experience operating heavy trucks (Required)
  • Strong understanding of safety, HOS, and freight handling
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems on the fly, and get the job done
  • Familiarity with the territory of Alberta routes is a bonus
  • Comfortable using a logbook (paper or electronic)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing solid work every shift
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan (cell allowance provided)
  • Must pass a criminal record check and road test

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00/hr

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Schedule: 4 Day Work Weeks - To be discussed during interview process.
